Lindsey Wilson College honored beloved Columbia physician and longtime LWC supporter and alumnus at a dedication ceremony this afternoon.
The Dr. Phil Aaron Cycling Complex, was dedicated at the entrance to the park in the 200 Block of Bomar Heights, Columbia.
For many years Dr. Aaron allowed the Lindsey Wilson cycling program to develop and train on the property located behind the former Aaron Medical Center. The cycling complex provided a venue for the team to begin hosting cycling events in 2008. After Aaron's death in 2016, the property was auctioned and Lindsey Wilson College became the official owner.
Dr. Aaron attended Lindsey Wilson College in 1970. He is a lifelong proponent of LWC athletic and academic programs - notably, the LWC nursing program.
