The following story is from someone who was at a Metcalfe Co. church when the following event occurred. This person submitted the info. to the Metcalfe Co. Chamber of Commerce, who passed it along to 92.7 the WAVE.
Last Sunday morning, Oct. 15, 2017 in the middle of a church service in Metcalfe County, a man walked in and made his way to the front of the congregation. At first, he sat down, but quickly stood up and shouted that he was possessed by demons. His appearance and the wild look in his eyes was that of someone on drugs. A couple of men escorted him outside and eventually the situation was resolved. The man is now in jail but will most certainly be released because his jail record shows this repeat pattern. The man has been arrested for theft and drugs, released and repeat.
The person submitting the information does not what his name or church mentioned in fear of retaliation. The reason they are sharing is because: the world we live in is dangerous, and to keep our loved ones safe we have to be diligent. The church is now taking precautions to assure that if something like this happens again, they will be better prepared and not caught off guard. Every church should have a safety plan in place should something happen.
