Adair Co. Judge Exec. Michael Lee Stephens has unofficially announced that he will be running for re-election.
Judge Stephens also announced today that a 6,500 square foot grocery store (with gas) called Magic Market will be locating in the Pinewood Shopping Center on a 2 acre corner lot. The store will be larger than most other convenience stores and will offer grocery & deli items. Stephens said that finally there will be real competition for their fuel dollars.
The center is projected to open in January, 2018.
