A traffic stop for reckless driving late Saturday night in Adair County turned into felony drug charges for an Adair County man and a Russell County man.
Deputy Josh Durbin conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Dodge on Vester Road around 1:30am Saturday morning after observing the vehicle driving at a high rate of speed and driving all over the road. The vehicle was being operated by 23 year old Damien Wilson of Russell Springs, KY. After investigation, Wilson was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving, Operating on a Suspended License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Methamphetamine.
A passenger, 23 year old Cody Cowan of Columbia, KY was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Deputy Durbin was assisted by Deputy Keith with the Adair County Sheriff's Department.
