An Adair County man was arrested on drug charges after Columbia Police responded to a 911 complaint.
According to the police report, on Tuesday, Novemer 7, 2017 Columbia Police responded to an apartment complex off Greensburg Street. The female caller advised a man was behind a dumpster yelling out obscenities. Upon arrival, officers searched the area and located the man who had climbed a tree in attempt to hide from officers.
Arrested was 19-year-old Chris Dickson on charges of:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Public Intoxication excludes alcohol
- Criminal Trespass 3rd degree
Dickson was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by CPD Ofc. Josh Brockman, who was assisted by Ofc Charles Greer.
