The Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, seven miles east of Columbia.
The accident happened when 61 year old Pamela Kermeen of Columbia, KY was traveling west on the parkway and her vehicle hit an icy spot on the Russell Creek bridge, causing her vehicle to cross the guardrail into the east bound traffic. The vehicle came to rest in the center median.
Adair County EMS treated Mrs. Kermeen on the scene and transported her to T.J. Health Columbia for injuries sustained.
Deputy Brandon Hitch from the Adair County Sheriffs Office is the investigating officer. He was assisted on the scene by Columbia Police Officer Drew Conn.
