An Adair County man was arrested on drug charges after shoplifting at Walmart.
On Monday, December 18, 2017 Adair County Sheriff's Deputies were participating in the annual "Shop with a Sheriff" program when they observed a subject attempting to leave Wal-Mart with stolen items. Upon further investigation the suspect, 28 year Ronald Litteral of Columbia, KY was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Litteral was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Shoplifting less than $500. The suspect was also served with four outstanding warrants of arrest, three out of Russell County and one out of Adair County. Litteral was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
The arrest was made by Deputy Joey Keith who was assisted by Deputy Brandon Hitch and Sheriff Harrison Moss.
