On Sunday, June 3, 2018 at approximately 11:40pmCT, KSP Post 15 was notified that a Clinton County inmate, Ryan Tweedy, 32, of Paducah, KY had escaped from the Clinton County Jail. Troopers Allen Shirley & Adam Likins located the subject approx. one hour later, laying in an abandoned truck on U.S. 127.
Tweedy was charged with Escape 2nd degree, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st degree (on foot), Menacing, Resisting Arrest, Receiving Stolen Property less than $500, Disorderly Donduct 2nd degree, Criminal Trespassing 2nd degree and Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol). Tweedy was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
