On Sunday, June 3, 2018 at approximately 11:40pmCT, KSP Post 15 was notified that a Clinton County inmate, Ryan Tweedy, 32, of Paducah, KY had escaped from the Clinton County Jail. Troopers Allen Shirley & Adam Likins located the subject approx. one hour later, laying in an abandoned truck on U.S. 127. 

Tweedy was charged with Escape 2^nd degree, Fleeing or Evading Police 1^st degree (on foot), Menacing, Resisting Arrest, Receiving Stolen Property less than $500, Disorderly Donduct 2^nd degree, Criminal Trespassing 2^nd degree and Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol). Tweedy was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
