On Saturday, June 30, 2018 the Campbellsville Police Department responded to Trendsetters Consignment located at 109 Nancy Cox Drive to the report of an armed Robbery. Upon officers arrival, it was determined that a male subject had held the clerk at gunpoint and attempted to rape her. The subject then took the money from the clerk and fled the scene.  A witness was able to obtain a license plate number of the suspect. After further investigation it was determined that 50 year old Michael H. Adams of Crescent Hill Drive, Campbellsville, KY was the suspect. Adams was taken into custody and a search warrant was executed on his residence and vehicle. Adams was arrested and charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Attempted Rape 1st Degree. Adams was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.  

 

The victim was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for injuries received during the incident.
