The Taylor County Sheriffs Dept responded to a car stalled in the road on Saturday night on Highway 68 (Greensburg Road) resulting in the arrest of 21 year old Monte Lamar Smith of Campbellsville. Smith was charged with Trafficking in Heroin and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also wanted on an outstanding Taylor County warrant.
The arrest was made by Taylor County Deputy Tyler Finn. Smith was lodged in the Taylor Co. Detention Center.
