The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board recently approved $151,000 in Agricultural Development Funds for the 2018 Adair County CAIP program (County Agricultural Investment Program) to be administered by the Adair County Cattlemen's Association. This program is a 50% cost-share program with a maximum funding of $1,500 per farm operation. CAIP is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices. Applications for the 2018 Adair County CAIP program will be available August 6 - August 24, 2018 at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street in Columbia during regular business hours.
