A logging accident has claimed the life of a Taylor County man.
On Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:52amET, the Taylor County Coroner's Office was notified by Green County E-911 to respond to the Liberty Church Road area of Green County to a logging accident. A male, identified as Donald Ray Dease of Campbellsville, KY was pronounced dead at the scene by Taylor Co. Coroner Daniel Cook from injuries sustained in the logging accident.
The incident was investigated by the Green County Sheriff's Office, Deputy A. Rainwater, and the Taylor County Coroner's Office. Other agencies assisting were the Green County Fire Dept., Green County Rescue Squad and Green County EMS.
