Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at approximately 9:56pmCT, Adair county Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on New Concord Road, Columbia, KY.
Deputies located the vehicle at New Concord Road & Christine Road. Deputies located 31-year-old Jesse Abell passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle. In a roadside investigation deputies located a small amount of methamphetamine inside the vehicle and it was determined that Jesse Abell was under the influence. Abell was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence 1st offense, possession controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
