A 2-vehicle accident this morning (Thursday) in Jamestown, KY injured an Adair Co. man.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, the collision occurred at 10:50amCT at the intersection of US 127 Business and the 127 Bypass. Todd A. Herndon, 50, of Batavia, Ohio, was driving a 2015 Freightliner southbound on US 127 Business and was stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of the 127 Bypass when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2012 Ford Box van being driven by Joseph Q. Graves, 31, of Columbia, KY.
Graves was treated at the scene by Russell County EMS and then transported to Russell County Hospital. Neither Herndon or his passenger, Raymond McKinney, 44, of Erlanger received injuries.
The collision is being investigated by Jamestown City Police Chief Jeff Kerns. Assisting at the scene were Russell County EMS, the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and the Jamestown Fire Department.
