According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck, a Eubank, Kentucky man was arrested Sunday evening, October, 14, 2018 after Deputies and a Kentucky State Police Trooper answered a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Highway 452 in Eubank.
At approximately 5:20 PM Sunday evening deputies Marcus Harrison, Matt Bryant and Tan Hudson as well as Trooper Corey Jones responded to a domestic disturbance in progress at 575 West Highway 452 in Eubank. The caller to the 911 Center advised that Christopher L. Harness, age 40 was on the property in violation of an Emergency Protection Order that had been previously ordered by Pulaski County Family Court.
Trooper Corey Jones located Mr. Harness hiding under a bed in the residence. Mr. Harness was placed under arrest by Trooper Jones for violation of the Emergency Protection Order.
Deputies obtained permission to search the house and premises from Mrs. Harness. A baggie containing 5.84 grams of a white crystalline substance assumed to be methamphetamine, several syringes and a set of digital scales were discovered in the bedroom occupied by Mr. Harness.
In addition to the EPO violation charge, Mr. Harness was charged by Deputy Harrison with 1. Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st. Degree, 1st. Offense (> or = to 2 grams Methamphetamine). 2. Drug Paraphernalia-Buy or Possess.
Christopher L. Harness was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center without further incident.
