On Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 12:25amCT, Columbia Police arrested 39 year old Charles McFarland after recovering a stolen TV and audio equipment at a residence on Montgomery Street. Columbia Police were working in conjunction with Russell County authorities on locating items reported stolen from a Russell County residence.
McFarland was charged with Receiving Stolen Property by CPD Officer Jordan Dean and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. McFarland will face additional charges in Russell County.
