Around 4:30pm Monday, Casey Co. Deputy Chad Weddle arrested Jamie Harris, 42, of Liberty after conducting a traffic stop for reckless driving at Walnut Hill Rd/South US 127. Mr. Harris was charged with reckless driving, DUI, no registration plates, and carrying a concealed weapon. A search of Mr. Harris vehicle, assisted by Deputies Freeman Luttrell and Geoffrey Brown, Police Chief Stephen Garrett, K-9 Mako, and Officer Ronnie Smith, led to further charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
