The Casey County Fiscal Court met regular session last night.
Under General Business there were two seats opening on the Extension Board. Barry Stringer's term was set to expire & he was reappointed to hold that seat for another term. Judge Executive Randy Dial recommended Brent Pennington to fill the second seat, being vacated by Brian Johnson. Both appointments were approved.
Judge Dial requested the court's permission to sign an emergency management grant program contract.

Under miscellaneous business Judge Dial informed the court that the county did purchase a Back Hoe at the recent consignment sale held at the Casey County Egg Expo Center. Judge Dial said this saved the county quite a bit of money over purchasing a new one.
One other item of business at last nights meeting concerned a recent request by Hinkle Construction for the county to sign a contract agreement for payment of any future construction jobs.

County attorney Tommy Weddle suggested the proposed contract by Hinckle was unacceptable, and he stated he would draw up a contract that will be more acceptable to both parties.
The next regular meeting of the Casey County Fiscal Court is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 19th.
