According to Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston, 18-year-old Noah Foley and 19-year-old Luke Lawhorn, both of Jamestown, KY were arrested on numerous charges involving 9 different churches across Russell County.
Several churches were burglarized August 9-23, 2019. The churches include Temple Hill, Creelsboro Christian, Griders Chapel, House Upon A Rock, Russell Springs First Baptist, Coffey's Grove, Faith indepence; Good Tidings, and Mt. Vernon.
Noah Foley & Luke Lawhorn were charged with: 6 counts of 3rd degree Burglary, 3 counts of Attempted Burglary; 5 counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking (less than $500); 8 counts of Criminal Mischief, 2nd degree; 1 count of Criminal Mischief, 1st degree; and 1 count of Theft By Unlawful Taking (over $500). Both were lodged in the Russell County Jail. Sheriff Polston says a female juvenile will also be charged with the same offenses at a later date.
