The Adair County Sheriffs Office investigated an injury accident over the weekend that sent a juvenile to the hospital.
The single vehicle collision occurred on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 approx. 17 miles east of Columbia on KY 551 at 11:41amCT. 56-year-old Gail Gribbs of Indiana was traveling east, when her vehicle left the roadway and went over a steep earth embankment. A juvenile passenger was injured as a result of the impact and was treated at the scene by Adair EMS and the Knifley Fire Department. Adair EMS transferred the juvenile to TJ Health Columbia where she was treated for her injuries.
The collision was investigated by Chief Deputy Justin Cross.
