SCRANTON, Pa. (CNN) - A man accused of threatening President Donald Trump and Kentucky Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer is expected to take the stand Monday.
Police say Shawn Christy led them on a 3-month-long nationwide manhunt that included Adair County, KY last year.
Kentucky State Police said Christy was caught on surveillance video in August 2018 breaking into Meyer's home. Christy was captured about a month later near Columbus, Ohio.
During the trial proceedings Friday, the jury reviewed one of Meyer's Facebook posts directed at Christy and his father. It read: "It's just unfortunate that they didn't bring him and you out in a body bag." Meyer said in court that post shows his true feelings.
