Wednesday, September 22, 2021 was proclaimed as Aaron Branham Day as the result of a proclamation issued by Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots. It was also Aaron’s 16th birthday!
Branham is currently collecting socks for Norton’s Children’s Hospital. His goal for 2021 is 3000 pairs of socks. The City of Columbia took donations, coordinated by Ann Marie Austin, and had over 2,200 pairs of socks donated. The socks were presented to Aaron yesterday.
You still have time to donate as socks will be collected through October 1st. Drop off your Sock donations at Columbia City Hall, The Adair Progress, The Community Voice, or the Adair County Public Library.
