The crowning of the largest pumpkin and watermelon grown on Bluegrass soil was held this weekend at the 2023 Kentucky State Fair.

The largest watermelon rang in at a whopping 276.8 pounds and was grown by Joseph Miller of Tompkinsville, KY.
The long-standing contest, in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, is a highly anticipated event at the Kentucky State Fair. The fair runs through Sunday, August 27th in Louisville.
