Numerous South Kentucky RECC customers were without power on Sunday night in Russell and Casey Counties. According to our friends at the Storm Alert Center, at its peak 94 customers in Russell County and 84 in Casey County were affected. According to the companies website on Monday morning, all power has been restored with no outages being reported after 5:00 a.m..
The cause of the outage was rumored to be caused by someone striking a pole during an accident, but no official cause has been released as of news time…
