Frank Appleby, age 67 of the Sparksville Community in Adair Co., KY died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY after a sudden illness. He was born in Casey County, KY on March 10, 1950, the son of the late Chester and Lois Glover Appleby. He was also preceded in death by two brothers
Arnold Appleby and James Appleby. Mr. Appleby was retired from the Gaddie-Shamrock Quarry, where he was employed for 22 years as a rock crusher.

1 daughter: Angel Grider & husband Adam, Sparksville
5 grandchildren: Samantha Appleby, Zachary Appleby, Austin Kinnett, Jayden Foster, Landyon Grider
4 sisters: Anna Appleby; Phyllis (Harley) Richie; Emma (Leeland) Sanders; Wanda (Mark) Wilson all of Campbellsville
2 brothers: Allen Appleby, Liberty; Henry (Debbie) Appleby, Campbellsville
Several nieces and nephews survive and a host of other relatives and friends
Also survived by his beloved dog Abby
Funeral service Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Clergy officiating Bro. Elbert Hadley and Bro. Jimmy Bunch. The family request visiting after 3:30 PM on Tuesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home who is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
