Renate Rusgen Harless, daughter of the late Mr. Romanus Rusgen and Mrs. Mathilda Becker Rusgen, was born Monday, December 22, 1927 in Wuppertal, Germany, and departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2018 at her residence in Greensburg. She was 90 years, 1 month, and 28 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Church of Christ.
She united in marriage to Mr. Clinton Nathan Harless on Wednesday, April 9, 1952, who departed this life on Monday, May 12, 1997.
Mrs. Harless is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Anita Harless of Texas and Lorraine & Billy Dangerfield of Greensburg; four grandchildren and a spouse: Shiloh Harless of Missouri, Annette Dangerfield of Berea , Eric & Ashley Harless of Kansas, and Charles Cann III; three great grandchidren: Alanna Harless, Arissa Harless and Drake Harless; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Ilonka "Tootsie" Harless Cann; 1 brother and 1 sister.

The funeral services for Mrs. Renate Rusgen Harless, will be conducted at 10:00 AM Central Time, Monday, February 12, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Bro. Craig Waddle and Bro. Danny McCain, will be officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M. Sunday and after 7 A.M. Monday until time of service at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.
A Graveside service will be conducted Monday at 12:30 P.M. Central time at the Lebanon National Cemetery in Marion County.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Hosparus of Green River which can be made at the funeral home.
