Alice Marie Cox Humes, 43, of Campbellsville, KY (formerly of Fort Wayne, IN) died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Taylor County Hospital after a brief illness.
Marie was born on January 19, 1975, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of the late Carmen, J.V. Cox and Dawn Kay Trout Cox. She attended Campbellsville University and Spencerian College where she received her degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In her spare time, she enjoyed the outdoors, listening to music and dancing. She had been attending Elkhorn Baptist Church,
Besides, her mother, Marie is survived by her husband, James William Humes, a daughter, Chelsey Adcock, 3 sons, Dawson Adcock, C.J. Cox and Harley Rodgers as well as her step-daughter, Brooklyn Humes all of Campbellsville. Also surviving is a brother, Jeremy Cox of Campbellsville, her grandparents, Paul and Jonita Trout of Indiana, and her aunt, Star Trout also of Indiana.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Brian Rafferty officiating.
BURIAL: Jones Chapel Cemetery with bearers being Buddy Tate, Tommy Price, T.J. Milby, Tyler Goodin, Dawson Adcock and James Price.
VISITATION: Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Lyon DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
