Phillip Bryan Stover, 82, of Burkesville, KY passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Cumberland County Hospital. He was born in the Willow Grove Community of Clay County, Tennessee on June 5, 1936, the son of Phillip Rudolph and Nell McClusky Stover.
He was a member of the Waterview Church of Christ, business owner of Stover’s Service Station in Marrowbone, Kentucky, a retired bus driver of 32 years with the Cumberland County Board of Education and a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Carol Stover.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Joyce Murley Stover of Burkesville, Kentucky, whom he wed on Thursday, January 24, 1957, his daughters, Carol (Robin) Sharp of Marrowbone, Kentucky and Kathy (Alvin) Garner of Burkesville, Kentucky, his grandson, Andrew Sharp of Elkridge, MD, his granddaughters, Brittany (Todd) Childress of Glasgow, Kentucky and Brooke Sharp of Marrowbone, Kentucky, plus a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home
Burial: Marrowbone Cemetery
Visitation: Friday, July 13, 2018 after 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.
