Ethel Rachel Jeffries Adams, 90, was born February 18, 1928 in Green County, KY to the late George and Della Bird Coomer Jeffries. She departed this life Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She had made a profession of faith and was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church at Newt. She was a housewife.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Leo Adams, grandson Calvin Lewis Curry, son-in-law: Glen (Moon) Matney, eight brothers and sisters: Alexander, Ben, Dudley, William and Sylvester Jeffries, Murt Edwards, Nettie Whitlock and Alta Mae Jeffries.
SURVIVORS: 3 sons: Robert Harold Adams and his wife Annette of Mt. Sherman, Jerry Wayne Adams and his wife Sandy of Summersville and Terry Glenn Adams and his wife Brenda of Greensburg, 3 daughters: Betty L. Killensworth, Glenda Adams Curry and Brenda Kay Hunt and her husband Bruce, of Greensburg, 10 grandchildren: Sean Michael Wright, Steven Lewis Milby, Raedena Louise Janes and Harold, Carlos Curry and Samantha, Anna Curry and Danny, Anissa Matney and her fiance’ Patrick Bailey, Terra B. Scott, Mandy and Daniel Scott and Melissa Adams and an abundant amount of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
