Anna E. Grider Patterson, age 90, of East Ky 70 in Liberty, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. Born May 31, 1928, in Elizabethtown, KY, she was a daughter of the late Albert Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Tabb Carrol.
Anna was a daily bible reader and a member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. She was also a former cook for the Casey County Board of Education.
SURVIVORS; 2 sons, Donald Ray (Linda) Grider of Tennessee and Bryan Keith (Cindy) Grider of Liberty and 5 daughters, Doris Addington of Elizabethtown, Colletta Grider of Campbellsville, Nene (Ronald) Cook of Liberty, Lavonda (Elmer) Coffman of Campbellsville, and Shelly (Rick) Wesley of Liberty. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several half-brothers and half-sisters.
Anna was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Winston Grider, who died in 1975, and Caleb Patterson, who died in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Johnson and a son-in-law, Phillip Addington.
Funeral Service: 1:00PM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church with Bro. Rodney Smith and Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating
Burial: Glenwood Cemetery
Visitation: 5-9PM on Monday, January 7, 2019 and 8AM-11AM on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home and from 12:00 Noon until time of service on Tuesday at the church.
