IDA BELLE LEE THOMAS, 86, LIBERTY

 

Ida Belle Lee Thomas, 86, of Liberty, KY passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Liberty Care and Rehab. Born on June 18, 1932, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Bill & Lorene Allen Lee.

 

Ida was a retired cook from Liberty Elementary School. She was a faithful Christian throughout her life.

 

SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Kendall (Judy) Thomas of Yosemite & Randy (Kay) Thomas of Frankfort, KY; 3 grandchildren: Nicholas Thomas, Natalie Thomas & Jacob Thomas; 1 niece: Mary Frances Reckers; 2 nephews: Mark Edwards & Melvin Woodrum

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Therlow Jones “Snaz” Thomas, who passed away on October 24, 1998; 5 sisters: Hester Von Hedt, Gertrude Edwards, Betty Lempke, Alta Sweet & Janie Woodrum; 2 brothers: Louie Lee & Wolford Lee.  

 

Funeral Service: 2:00pmET on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Brown and Dominic Gordon officiating

 

Burial: Antioch Cemetery

 

Visitation: 12:00pm-2:00pmET on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home

 

Pallbearers: Nicholas Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Thomas Weddle, Steve Sweeney, Ronnie Thomas & Donnie Goforth
