Michelle Johnson Stearns, 55, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Russell County Hospital. Born on January 29, 1966 in Somerset, KY, she was a daughter of the late Don V. and Laura Elouise Brown Johnson.
Michelle was a cook for the Russell County Board of Education and a member of Coffey’s Chapel Church. She loved her family, and she was loved by everyone that met her.
In addition to her parents, Michelle was preceded in death by a daughter, Deneane McGowan; a sister, Donita Lawless; and 2 brothers-in-law: Stan Hislope and Garvin Bennett.

1 daughter: Kayla Green (and Jesse) of Columbia, KY
5 grandchildren: Madelyn McGowan, Brylee McGowan, Chase McGowan, Grelyon Green, Grifton Green (and another on the way)
1 sister: Karen Hislope of Jamestown, KY
1 brother: Barren Johnson (and Lisa) of Russell Springs, KY
