Phyllis Robertson Burton, 87, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at her home. She was born in Russell Springs on February 3, 1934, daughter of the late Orvis “Red” and Mary Leach Robertson.
She married McDowell “Mack” Burton on January 13, 1955. She and Mack were believers in Christ and were strong in their faith in God. Phyllis was very creative and artistic; she loved painting and sewing. Her home was filled with antiques she had enjoyed collecting. Phyllis listened to all kinds of music and loved her flowers. She loved her family dearly.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Mack, who passed away on December 6, 2020; her brother, Michael Robertson; and her sister, Becky Robertson.

2 sons: Darrell Burton (Karen) and Joel Burton (Rebecca Hughes), both of Russell Springs
1 sister: Betty Jane Beck (Ted) Beck, of Madisonville
3 grandchildren: Brandy Stone (Josh) of Bardstown; Megan Burton and Jaylon Burton, both of Russell Springs
6 great-grandchildren
Funeral service: Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 12:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Miller and Bro. Carroll Egnew officiating
Interment: Russell Springs City Cemetery
Phyllis’ children and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Tuesday at the funeral home
