Mother Beverly J. Payne, 84, of Columbia, KY transitioned peacefully from this life on Saturday, March 19, 2022 to her Heavenly Home. She was a daughter of the late John Pollard and May Fouts.
She was a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bishop Billy Ray Payne, who passed away on December 26, 2021 and 3 siblings: Patricia Ivy, John Pollard, and Johnny Lee.

11 children: Daniel (Bonnie) Farris of Brandon Florida; Ronald (Donna) Farris of Danville, KY; Sherry (Lee) McCree of Indianapolis Indiana; Joseph Carter Farris of Stanford, KY; Elizabeth (James) Morrow of Indianapolis, Indiana; Lorna Wyatt of Atlanta, Georgia; Clayton (Debbie) Farris of Indianapolis, Indiana; Eric Farris (Pam) of Stanford, KY; Brenda Payne of Chicago, Illinois; William Ray Payne, Jr. of Lagrange, KY; and Anthony (Peggy) Payne of Columbia, KY
3 sisters: Kathy Horn, Pamela Hughes and Nancy Gingery
A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren
A host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws
Beverly “adopted” Joshua and Stephanie Cheatham & their daughters as her own
She also “adopted” her niece, Kimberly Wells and nephew, Joseph Lee Farris of Stanford, KY
