Mayme June Helm, 88, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Russell County Hospital. She was born in Russell County on June 22, 1934, a daughter of the late Porter Elmer and Nell Shearer Wooldridge.
Mayme was a life-long member of Fairview Separate Baptist Church. She was a dairy farmer, alongside her husband, Elwood. Mayme worked as a seamstress for Fruit of the Loom in Jamestown and was an employee at Lake Cumberland State Park. She enjoyed reading.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Elwood Helm, who passed away July 1, 2009; her sister, Maxine Garner; and a brother who died in infancy.

2 daughters: Judy (Mike) Rexroat and Janice (Garry) Weir, both of Russell Springs, KY
1 brother: Marshall (June) Wooldridge of Russell Springs, KY
9 grandchildren: Shelley (Troy) Bishop, Kelly Kelsey, Casey (Hillary) Rexroat, Brian (Crystal) Weir, Derek (Brittany) Weir, Lukas Helm, Regan Helm, Jansen (Caleb) Reader and Jordan (Elizabeth) Helm
7 great-grandchildren: Callie Bishop, Makenzie Kelsey, Jake Bishop, Corrine Rexroat, Camille Rexroat, Caleb Weir and Colton Weir
Funeral Service: Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00amCT at Fairview Separate Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Baldwin and Bro. Roger Garner officiating. Special music will be provided by Janice Popplewell.
Interment: Dixon Cemetery
Visitation: Friday, September 9, 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home and after 8:00amCT on Saturday at the church
