Opal Watson, 89, of Columbia, KY died Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at TJ Health Columbia. She was born March 25, 1933 in Adair County to the late Clarence and Nannie Hardin Goode.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. “Buck” Watson; her daughter, Linda Sue Watson Judd; and two brothers: L.J. Goode and Richard Marshall Goode.
Opal was a long-time member of Tabernacle Christian Church and later a member of Shiloh Christian Church. She was a Sunday School Teacher for years, a former merchant, Real Estate Broker and retired from the Adair County Health Department as a Clinical Assistant. She loved gardening, sewing, handwork, solving puzzles and cooking family dinners.

9 great-grandchildren: Luc Powell, Griff Powell, Audrey Watson, Graham Watson, Bailey Coffey, Luke Coffey, Carson Jud, Carli Judd and Kate Judd
A son-in-law: Barry Judd (Debbie) of Richmond
