Kerry D. Brown, 76, Breeding, KY

 

Kerry D. Brown, 76, of Breeding, KY died Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 9:36 A.M. at the TJ Health Columbia Emergency Room. He was born February 2, 1947 in Adair County and was preceded in death by his father, John Benjamin Brown. 

 

Kerry retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville, being a member of United Auto Workers Local 862 and after retirement moved back to Breeding where he enjoyed his farm life.  He was a member of Breeding Church and the Adair County Cattleman's Association.

 

SURVIVORS:

His wife: Peggy England Brown of Breeding

His mother: Maxine Branham Brown of Louisville

1 son & daughter-in-law: Michael & Becky Brown of Mt. Washington

1 daughter & son-in-law: Sandy & Anthony Jacobs of Louisville

1 sister: Brenda Sanders of Louisville

2 grandchildren: Benjamin and Trinity Jacobs

Several other relatives & friends

 

Funeral Service: Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lemmon officiating

 

Burial: Fudge Cemetery

 

Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Thursday

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Fudge Cemetery would be appreciated and can be left at the funeral home.

 

Casket Bearers: Lukas Lemmon, Lakota Lemmon, Justin Brown, Joey Burris, Grant Frazier, Patrick Scott

 

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
