Mary Bessie Malone, 91, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. She was born in Jamestown, KY on August 13, 1932, a daughter of the late Liddie (Lawless) and Arles Chapman.
Ms. Malone was a member of Freedom Christian Church and a retired schoolteacher.

2 daughters: Peggy Osborne of Morehead, KY and Lila McGowan (Drew) of Jamestown, KY
1 son: Junior Malone (Sherri) of Russell Springs, KY
4 grandchildren: Tyler (Stephanie) McGowan, Trey (Chelsea) McGowan, Marisa Malone, and Sidney (David) Stephens
5 great-grandchildren: Rylen, Marlee, Tucker, Liddie McGowan and Colt Taylor
A host of nieces, nephews, and other family & friends
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Malone; a sister, Lizza Garner; and a grandson, Travis McGowan.

Burial: Bethel Cemetery in Jamestown, KY
