Wanda Clayton, 89, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at her home. She was born in Jamestown on March 2, 1934, a daughter of the late Roxie (McFall) and Carlos Leslie McWhorter.
Wanda was a retired Headstart Teacher.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Clayton; two daughters: Sharon Clayton and Sandy Dean; three brothers: Les, Wendell, and Freddy McWhorter; and one sister, June Johnson.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11:00amCT at the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene in Jamestown, KY with Pastor Brian Fudge and Bro. Troy McWhorter officiating
Visitation: Monday, October 16, 2023 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and after 8:00amCT on Tuesday at the church
Burial: Jamestown Cemetery
The family requests donations to the Jamestown Nazarene Missionary Fund and can be made at the church.
H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown is in charge of the arrangements.
