BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED AS OF 9:43AM FRI., SEPT. 15TH!
A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for consumers of Columbia Adair Utilities District
for customers from Fairground Street to Greenhills Road and all side roads in between, All of Public Square, Public Square to Oak Street and all side roads, from stoplight at Jamestown Street and E 80 down to Russell Creek and all side roads, from E 80 back toward Public Square and all side roads, Wright Drive and all side roads, and all of Lindsey Wilson College.
The advisory has been issued due to main line Leak.
Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure.
Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using.
