Emergency personnel were on the scene of a 2-vehicle injury accident in Russell County Thursday night around 7:30 pm CT on the Louie B Nunn Cumberland Parkway near the 68 mile marker. Both east and westbound lanes were closed for a brief time to allow a helicopter to land on scene. Initial reports say three were injured . . . one transported by EMS, one transported by private means and one flown to University of Kentucky Hospital. Kentucky State police and multiple agencies were on the scene last night. 92.7 will have more information as it becomes available later today.
