Due to a delay with machinery the paving operations that were set to begin Tuesday, Oct. 2nd, will now begin on Thursday, October 5th on Main Street (KY 379) in Russell Springs.
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is scheduled to perform milling operations later this week on Thursday and Friday afternoon with full paving operations being performed on Monday, October 9th and Tuesday, October 10th.
During these operations on street parking will be closed and the roadway will be reduced to one lane with traffic controlled by flaggers. Sidewalks will remain open.
Work will be performed during the day and nighttime hours.
Motorists should expect delays. Take an alternate route if possible.
