An investigation by members of the Russell County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the arrest of a Jamestown man Thursday afternoon for trafficking in Methamphetamine and Marijuana.
Deputy Nathan Ginn & Det. Joey Hoover obtained a search warrant for the mobile home residence of Timothy D. McWhorter, age 30, located at 42 Jenny Lane off KY 1680, about three miles east of Jamestown. During the search, Deputies found a quantity of “crystal meth”, Marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
McWhorter was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, over 2 grams and Trafficking in Marijuana, less than 8 ounces.
The search was conducted by Sheriff Clete McAninch, Lt. David Cain, Det. Joey Hoover, Deputy Evan Burton & K-9 Matt, Deputy Nathan Ginn and Deputy Ethan Pike. McWhorter was processed and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
