Columbia Police arrested an Adair County Woman after a traffic stop on Wednesday.  

Officers received a call of a suspicious vehicle on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 just before midnight in the Greenhills Subdivision. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on a 2005 white Honda. As a result of the stop, 31-year-old Laura Franklin of Columbia, KY was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree. Franklin was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by CPD Officers Charles Greer and Josh Brockman.
