An Adair County man is accused of theatening a public entity.
Columbia Police were notified Thursday of a threat made towards the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
According to investigators, the threatened to "pick off the employees as they left the building."
56-year-old Danny Jeffries, of Columbia, is charged with Terroristic Threatening-3rd Degree, and Retaliating Against a Participant in a Legal Process.
He was lodged in the Adair County Jail.
