According to Sheriff Greg Speck, deputies responded to a 911 call of a single vehicle injury accident on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at approximately 6:30 PM.
Upon arrival at the accident scene in the 2000 block of Dixie Bend Road, Deputy Cary York found William E. Fox, age 59 of Valley View Drive, Tateville, Kentucky suffering from injuries he sustained in the crash.
Preliminary investigation by Deputy York found that Mr. Fox was eastbound on Dixie Bend Road. His 1994 Ford F150 truck ran off the right shoulder, hit a pile of large rocks then crossed the road and struck several small trees. The pickup truck came to rest in a ditch on the driver's side.
Pulaski County EMS personnel treated Mr. Fox at the scene and transported him to a landing zone at Grave Hill Church. He was then airlifted to the University Of Kentucky Medical by Air Methods air ambulance service.
Sheriff's units were assisted at the scene by Volunteers from the Tateville Fire Department and the Pulaski County Rescue Squad.
The accident remains under investigation by Deputy York.
