A Russell Springs man was arrested early Friday morning for trafficking in Methamphetamine.
Michael D. Larkins, Jr., age 39, of 238 Lakeway Drive was arrested shortly before 2am and charged with two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree-Meth.
A search of Larkins’ residence resulted in the seizure of several grams of “crystal meth”, digital scales and an illegal shotgun.
Larkins was also charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence following his arrest and with Promoting Contraband into the Russell County Jail.
The arrest was made by Det. Joey Hoover along with Sgt. Mark Cromwell of the Russell County Sheriff’s Department, Officer Jeremy West of the Russell Springs Police Department, Officer Jeremy England of the Jamestown Police Department and KSP Trooper Billy Begley.
