PULASKI CO. ACCIDENT

Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck reports that deputies responded to a 911 call of a single vehicle injury accident at approximately 7 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 on Old Waynesburg Road, Eubank, Kentucky.

Upon arrival at the scene, Deputy Zach Mayfield found a 2003 Hyundai Elantra and two victims involved in the accident.  Deputy Mayfield's investigation found that the driver, Meranda E. Ashburn, age 27 of Estill Hackney Road, Eubank was northbound when speed and wet road conditions caused her to lose control of the vehicle.  The Hyundai automobile left the roadway and struck a tree.

Eubank volunteer firemen and Pulaski County EMS personnel freed Ms. Ashburn from the wreckage as well as a two year old female toddler, Trinity L. Padget

of Estill Hackney Road, Eubank.

Both victims were transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment of their injuries.  Trinity L. Padget was later transferred to the University of Kentucky Medical Center by ambulance for further treatment.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Officer Warren King of the Eubank Police Department.
