A 1-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening resulted in a Taylor Co. juvenile being flown to a Louisville hospital.
The Taylor Co. Sheriff’s Dept. investigated the single vehicle injury accident that occurred at 7:32pmET. A 17-year-old female juvenile was traveling south on Davis Road, operating a 2008 Suzuki. The driver stated the vehicle left the roadway to the right, overcorrected, crossed over the opposing lane and struck a tree head-on.
A male juvenile passenger was flown from the scene to Kosair Children’s Hospital with an apparent broken leg. The driver and another passenger were not injured.
Taylor Co. Deputy Mark Dicken investigated the accident . Taylor Co. EMS and Taylor Co. Fire Dept. responded and assisted on scene.
