A 2-vehicle accident on Monday evening in Campbellsville resulted in the arrest of one driver for DUI.
On Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 at 7:43pmET, 19-year-old Landon Chase Thomas of Campbellsville, KY was attempting to turn onto Water Tower Bypass off Roberts Road when he pulled into the path of a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle operated by James Taylor, 55, of Campbellsville, KY.
Thomas and a passenger, 23-year-old Danielle Collison of Summersville, KY were not injured. James Taylor was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville-Taylor Co. EMS for treatment of minor injuries.
Taylor was charged with DUI 2nd offense, No Registration and No Insurance. He was lodged in the Taylor Regional Detention Center after being treated for his injuries.
Taylor Co. Deputies Tim Coppage and Dickie Benningfield investigated the accident.
